Art Therapy for Children
Children do not always have the words for what they are experiencing.
Art therapy offers another way to express feelings, explore experiences and build confidence through creative work and gentle conversation.

Art therapy may be helpful when a child is finding something difficult to express, manage or make sense of.
- Big emotions, worry or anxiety
- Low confidence or self-esteem
- Changes, transitions or family stress
- Social or relationship difficulties
- Difficulty expressing feelings in words
- Neurodivergence, sensory or developmental needs
Your child does not need to be “good at art”.
What sessions are like
- A calm, welcoming studio with a range of art materials
- Children can choose what and how they create
- I gently support the process through art, play and conversation
- Sessions move at your child's pace, with no right or wrong way to create
Parents are part of the process
We begin with a parent consultation before your child's first session. I stay in touch through regular check-ins while also respecting your child's privacy and therapeutic space.
