Art Therapy near Elsternwick

A gentle alternative to talk therapy
Art therapy can be a good fit when talking feels like too much, for children who cannot yet name their feelings, for teens who shut down in face-to-face conversation, and for adults carrying stress, grief or burnout. In the Open Studio approach no one tells you what to make; the creative process itself is the therapeutic work.
Getting here from Elsternwick
From Elsternwick, follow Glen Huntly Road east for about ten minutes to reach MacGowan Avenue, with easy street parking outside the studio. The number 67 tram runs the whole way along Glen Huntly Road, so sessions are reachable without a car.
A quieter setting than a shopfront clinic
Elsternwick is busy along Glen Huntly Road, and some people find a clinic waiting room on a main street difficult to walk into. Sessions here take place in a residential home studio about four kilometres away, with a quiet street, a private entrance and no shared waiting area, which many children and adults find easier for a first visit.
NDIS participants welcome
Art therapy may be funded under Capacity Building, Improved Daily Living for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Learn more on the NDIS page or check current fees on pricing and funding.
Sessions in English and Hebrew
Roni Fireberger Kisos is an ANZACATA-registered art therapist and a native Hebrew speaker. Sessions are available for children, teens and adults in either language, in the studio or via telehealth.
